Annual Nominations and Elections:
The Michigan Audiology Coalition’s core purpose is to enhance the professional autonomy, stature, development, and knowledge of the Audiologists in Michigan. To this end, the Coalition was created to be the preeminent organization in Michigan whose core membership is limited to audiologists. Through its actions, the Coalition is designed to promote and enhance the practice of audiology in Michigan and ultimately improve the quality of care provided to the public thereby served.
Each year, the Nominations Committee chaired by the immediate past president of the Michigan Audiology Coalition (MAC) seeks nominations for available board positions. This year nominations include President-elect and Member-at-Large. Nominations for these positions is now open. Elections will be conducted electronically by members in May with results announced immediately following the election.
- President-elect will serve three years on the board. The first year as President- elect, the second year as President and the final year as Past President.
- Member-at-Large will serve a three year term.
Terms begin June 1, 2020 and end May 31, 2023. The executive board typically meets every other month in the Lansing area or via conference call. By submitting a nomination form, you accept the commitment of attending these meetings (whether in person or virtually).
