Clinical Audiologist

Company Michigan Otolaryngology Surgery Associates
Type Full Time
Wage 74,880 (plus annual profit share program) Salary
Location Ypsilanti, MI
Michigan Otolaryngology Surgery Associates (MOSA) is seeking a full-time Audiologist to join our ENT based practice for our Ypsilanti, Michigan location. This is a clinical diagnostic and hearing aid dispensing audiology position. Qualified candidates will be responsible for seeing patients and helping in maintain clinical flow in our busy Ypsilanti, Michigan clinic where multiple audiologists are on clinic daily. This position may also be utilized to cover our satellite offices on an as-needed basis (satellites located in Canton, Livonia, Chelsea, Brighton, Saline, and Waterford Michigan)
This position is considered full-time, salaried position of 40 hours per week. We offer a very competitive compensation and incentive package, health insurance and 401k package, along with paid vacation and continuing education reimbursement.
Qualified candidates should hold a Doctoral or Masters level degree in audiology, be very independent and have a minimum of one year experience performing comprehensive audiometric evaluations, hearing aid evaluations/fittings, VNGs, EcochGs, and ABRs, and VEMPs. Cochlear Implant experience is also preferred, but not a requirement.
Our audiologist base salary is very competitive for the region (southeastern MI), and on top of it is a profit share program that is broken out annually (year-end is November) that is based off of all billable charges performed by each provider, not just hearing aid sales. We do not have a direct commission program and we also do not have a set/expected number of hearing aid sales, as our focus is to provide thorough and medically based care in our ENT setting, while also fitting hearing aids. Not sales-focused/driven. I’d also speak to the fact that we are not the “typical” ENT setting – we have graciously long appointment times (example: 45 minutes for audios, 2hrs for VNG+AEP appts, 60min+ for hearing aid fitting, etc), a vast majority of our patients are pre-scheduled for diagnostics, with the occasional add on sent over from ENT. I’d say the environment is far from the stereotypical ENT audiologist setting that most hear of.
